Getting Around in Copenhagen

Bike

Copenhagen is a city where a lot of people ride bikes to get around instead of cars. Wether it is getting to work, going to school or picking up the kids, everything is done on a bike. Even in the rain and snow.

Copenhagen Airport

Kastrup Airport Copenhagen

Kastrup (Copenhagen Airport Kastrup) – the largest airport in Denmark and Scandinavia’s busiest.

Kastrup is just 8 km from the center of Copenhagen. The airport has three terminals and most of the international flights arrive in Terminals 2 and 3. From Terminal 3, without leaving the airport building, you can transfer to the subway or train to get to Copenhagen itself or other cities in Scandinavia.

Trains from Copenhagen Central Station and the airport departs every ten minutes, and the journey is about 20 minutes long. The easiest way to get to and from the airport is by Metro.
