Fort Bourtange is a star fort in the village of Bourtange, Groningen, Netherlands, originally built to control the only road between Germany and the city of Groningen. It was restored in 1960 and is now a museum.

The Palm is an artificial island in Dubai, built in the shape of a palm tree. When it is completed, it will add 520 kilometers of beachfront to the city.

Central Park is the most visited urban park in the United States as well as one of the most filmed locations in the world. It has a lake called “The Lake” and a smaller pond called “The Pond”.

8. Bastei bridge, near Dresden, Germany

Bastei

The Bastei has been a tourist attraction for over 200 years, with the stone bridge in the picture replacing  an earlier wooden one in 1851.
